Empty Bowls

An Anti-Hunger Fundraising Project

Tuesday, February 20 • Alumni Hall
5 pm & 7 pm • $10 minimum donation

Empty Bowls is a fundraising project with all proceeds going to organizations that fight hunger. Served in handmade ceramic bowls created by Dartmouth students, local artists and Studio Art artist-in-residence Sana Musasama, a simple meal of soup and bread is provided to ticket buyers. Participants keep their bowls as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. This event, part of an international grassroots anti-hunger endeavor (emptybowls.net), is organized by Hopkins Center's Davidson Pottery Studio and the Studio Art Department.

Tickets for the meal go on sale at the Hop Box Office Tuesday, January 16.

Part of Class Divide, a three-year initiative examining social and economic class issues.

Cosponsored by the Hanover Inn.
