Lights! Camera! Reduction! The Reduced Shakespeare Company has gotten a world-wide cult following taking on t he Bard and now sets its sights on the glittering lights of Hollywood. With comic acrobatics and a healthy sense of the ridiculous, the “bad boys of abridgement” run through every Tinseltown cliché imaginable, affectionately skewering famous cinematic moments in a barrage of rapid-fire send-ups of nearly a century of movies. Will we see the Jane Austen action flick Darcy's Angels? The Disney-Kurosawa production of Snow White and the Seven Samurai? Or perhaps Singing in the Rain Man? Hilarity — and audience participation — abound in this madcap caper where Hollywood celebrities and sell-outs alike are Abridged Too Far.
