Usher in spring with the Dartmouth Chamber Singers, when they perform a buoyant program celebrating the renewal of life in springtime. Repertoire includes the lyrical Trois Chansons of French composer Claude Debussy, “called the father of musical Impressionism,” and Les Chansons des Roses, a delicate, joyous five-song cycle by contemporary American composer Morten Lauridsen, set to Rilke poetry in French. The Chamber Singers also present choral works by Schumann, Persichetti and Duke Ellington.
