Hopkins Center pianist-in-residence Sally Pinkas presents an elegant, far-ranging recital of classic and contemporary repertory. Returning from recent tours in Italy, Bulgaria and France, Pinkas continues to earn wide praise for her distinguished solo and chamber career. Her program explores the music of Gabriel Fauré, highlighting his undulating, ravishing Barcarolles, and includes intriguing works by noted composer and Dartmouth Music Department colleague Christian Wolff, as well as poetic, emotionally compelling pieces by Robert Schumann.
