Known affectionately as “The Golden Voice of Peru,” two-time Latin Grammy nominee Eva Ayllón casts a spell with her powerful stage presence and sensual throaty voice, hailed as “an instrument of enchantment” (The Washington Post). Singing the syncopated, rhythmic musica criolla of Lima and coastal Peru—a unique blend of indigenous, African and Spanish influences including landó, festejo and marinera—she sells out whole stadiums in Peru. This mighty diva brings her seductive voice and her band's swaying rhythms to America. Her romantic torch songs, spirited melodies and potent dance tunes, adorned by shimmering Flamenco guitar, piano, and the non-stop beats of congas and wooden percussion box cajón, make for an enchanting Afro-Latin concert.
