The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio

Thursday, MARCH 27 • 7 pm
Spaulding Auditorium
$24 • Dartmouth students $5

Beloved around the globe, the musicians of the celebrated Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio delight audiences with their virtuosity, expressiveness and warmth. Having just celebrated a 30th Anniversary, they've crystallized the art of perfect unanimity while delivering music they love with effortless spontaneity and sheer joy. Equally honored for chamber music solo careers, pianist Joseph Kalichstein, violinist Jaime Laredo and cellist Sharon Robinson have set the international gold standard for performance of the piano trio literature. They bring their passion and superbly wrought musicianship to the Hop when they play Haydn's Trio in F-sharp minor, Hob: XV/26; Ravels's Piano Trio in A minor; and Tchaikovsky's Trio in A minor, Op. 50.
