HOP COMMISSION Anne GaljourWork-in-ProgressFriday, APRIL 4 8 pm Click to download PROGRAM NOTES Award-winning Anne Galjour, who last captivated Hop audiences with sold-out performances of her solo play Hurricane, is creating a new work exploring class and culture in Northern New England. Galjour has led story circles and interviews with Upper Valley locals, from farmers to filmmakers. With sensitivity and humor, she takes on multiple roles and voices truths that often go unspoken. Take this unique opportunity to experience a new play deeply rooted in our own community. May contain adult language.
This project is made possible in part by a grant from the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Creative Campus Innovations Grant Program, a component of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. |
![]() In story circles, I found the poetry of the human voice, characters, conflict and the stakes not just for the Upper Valley region but our nation as a whole.
