Dazzling Italian early-music ensemble Europa Galante is renowned for definitive interpretations of Baroque and Classical music on period instruments. These inspired musicians, led by virtuosic conductor and violinist Fabio Biondi, perform with verve and stylistic polish. Their recording of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons—one of the most beloved, instantly recognizable pieces of classical music—has sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide. Their program offers jewels from the Baroque: Leclair's Concerto per violino ed archi in fa Maggiore; Purcell's Abdellazer; an international suite arranged by Biondi; and Four Seasons, the show-stopping favorite.
