For three decades, the Festival of New Musics has presented pioneering acoustic, electro-acoustic and electronic music. Showcasing compositions and performances by undergraduate and graduate students as well as by faculty and special guests, this watershed event takes listeners where no other music event can. Expand your mind—and your musical vistas—with some of the boldest new takes on music, created by leaders in the field like faculty members Larry Polansky, Doug Perkins and Newton Armstrong, and special guests Will Guthrie, The Meehan/Perkins Duo, Brendan Murray, Amy X Neuburg and Howard Stelzer. Join the vanguard of the international new musics scene, with this year's Festival of New Musics, celebrating 30 years of exploration and excellence.
