DARTMOUTH COLLEGE GOSPEL CHOIRFriday Night Party with the DCGCWalter Cunningham, director Friday, May 1 • 8 pm The Dartmouth College Gospel Choir combines voices of Dartmouth students and staff and members of the community in high-energy, inspiring concerts of traditional and contemporary gospel music. Featuring a live Gospel band, the Choir's concerts have become extremely popular. Under the exuberant direction of vocalist/keyboardist Walter Cunningham for the last four years, the Choir has grown from a small student-run group into a 75-member performance ensemble with near sell-out audiences in Spaulding, a special invitational performance at the 2007 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and a 2008 tour to Switzerland and Italy.
