The Dartmouth College Glee Club, under the direction of noted conductor Louis Burkot since 1981, is an outstanding group of serious ensemble singers. Its ever-increasing repertoire spans the 17th to 21st centuries, with a distinguished performance history including many of the masterworks of the choral/orchestral literature, fully staged Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, operas, musical theater works, large and small a cappella choral works—and the cherished songs of Dartmouth College. The Glee Club and 170 of its alumni celebrated the millennium with a performance at Carnegie Hall.
