Mozart Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, with Edward Kim '09, piano;
Brahms Symphony No. 4 in E minor

The Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, composed of primarily Dartmouth students, is dedicated to standard works from the symphonic repertoire, but occasionally performs compositions off the beaten path and music by 20th-century masters such as Bernstein and Gershwin. In recent seasons, the DSO has performed symphonies by Beethoven, Berlioz, Brahms, Haydn, Shostakovich, Dvorák, Tchaikovsky and Mahler. Sophisticated repertoire, student and professional soloists and sold-out shows have given the DSO a growing reputation for excellence in performing and programming. The DSO has been conducted for the last 16 years by Anthony Princiotti, who is also Music Director of the New Hampshire Philharmonic and Associate Conductor of the Vermont Symphony.
