With an uplifting spirit, Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars perform an irresistible mix of West African and reggae dance rhythms in this free outdoor concert for the entire family. Displaced due to a decade-long civil war, all eight musicians found each other in refugee camps in Guinea. While there, performing for the men, women and children who shared their confinement, they became the subject of an award-winning film documenting their plight. The All Stars, now back home in Freetown—and touring around the world—make music and autobiographical lyrics rejoicing in freedom, inspiring thousands, and joyously calling out for peace, love and social justice.
