Violinists Kathy Andrew and Peggy Spencer, violist Marcia Cassidy, cellist John Dunlop and pianist Gregory Hayes perform quintets by New Hampshire-born Amy Beach (1867-1944), one of America's most famous women composers; Arthur Whiting (1861-1936), a Massachusetts pianist/composer/arranger who had connections to St. Gaudens' Cornish Colony; and Walter Piston (1894-1976), a Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and Harvard Music professor.

Presented by the Hop and the Dartmouth Music Department, ChamberWorks is made possible by support from the Griffith Fund.
