Celebrating the Chamber Singers' 30th birthday, the Dartmouth student choral ensemble performs music from the 17th to 20th centuries, written in the 30th year of the life of each composer. The concert includes Der Himmel lacht! Die Erde jubilieret, BWV 31 (The Heavens laugh! The Earth rejoices), a sacred cantata by J.S. Bach; Te Deum in C by Haydn; Three Quartets, Op. 31, by Brahms; Rest by Britain's Ralph Vaughan Williams; and Winter by the very cool, L.A.-based contemporary composer Eric Whitacre.
