Zakir Hussain, the absolute reigning master of tabla drumming and 2009 winner of his second Grammy, has transformed world music through collaborations with such greats as George Harrison, Béla Fleck, Mickey Hart and Yo-Yo Ma. Joined by dancing drummers and musicians on sitar and sarangi, Hussain enraptures with the intricately interwoven, heart-racing rhythms of Indian folk and traditional music.
