Dartmouth Tango Festival

Presented by the Dartmouth Wind Symphony,
in cooperation with the Dartmouth Argentine Tango Society

The irresistible tango and its captivating music are the subject of this weekend festival February 18-20 at the Hopkins Center, hosted by the Dartmouth Wind Symphony and the Dartmouth Argentine Tango Society. The festival features performances and workshops by New York-based professional tango duo Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes and acclaimed bandoneon artist Juan Pablo Jofre. The weekend’s guest artists will participate in a capstone performance with the Dartmouth Wind Symphony in Spaulding Auditorium. Tango beginners and experts alike can sign up for group classes on Saturday afternoon or private lessons throughout the weekend with Salgado and Reyes, and can use their new moves on Saturday night at a milonga—a tango social dance—in the Hop’s Alumni Hall.
