The Hop’s 2011/12 season features outstanding performances covering tremendous creative ground.

Our live events kick-off with a soul-stirring performance of the Young@Heart Chorus, followed by the world premiere of choreographer Martha Clarke’s Angel Reapers and the return of guitar legend Pat Metheny. Later in the season, we are transported to far-away places by South African superstar Hugh Masekela, Korea’s SamulNori, Brazilian jazz ‘wizard’ Hermeto Pascoal and Berlin’s ultra-debonair Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester.

In addition, The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD series returns, featuring Anna Netrebko in the Met premiere of Anna Bolena, launching the Hop’s fifth season of spectacular live opera simulcasts. We hope you enjoy learning about the many exciting visiting artists and distinguished student ensembles scheduled to perform in the new season.
