HOPKINS CENTER DANCE PROGRAM

Located in the Straus Dance Studio in the Berry Sports Center, the Hopkins Center Dance Program offers modern dance instruction to both novice and experienced dancers. The curriculum includes classes in beginning through advanced levels of modern dance, Pilates and yoga, providing core training in anatomical awareness, strength, alignment and technique. In a focused and supportive atmosphere, students gain a fundamental understanding of dance that allows them to experience a breadth of technical styles. Students have the opportunity to work with faculty and guest choreographers and dancers and are encouraged to develop movement proficiency, individual expression and appreciation of the art form.
