DARTMOUTH COLLEGE GOSPEL CHOIR

It's irresistible – even if you're standing outside a rehearsal when the Gospel Choir is singing, the music resonating through the walls causes an unexplainable energy to surge through your body which may result in an uncontrollable swaying of the body or just an uplifting of your spirits. Whatever the result, the choir's combination of energy and passion is sure to be contagious. So if you are a member of the Dartmouth College population or the community at large, and you have a desire to sing a wide variety of gospel music ranging from spirituals to the most modern day contemporary hits then consider joining the choir. Events vary from concerts held each term, various college music combination programs, to visits to local churches. Now in his second year, Artistic Director Walt Cunningham, out of Chicago, continues some very innovative and exciting new direction for the choir.
