Loew Film: Margaret
Kenneth Lonergan’s follow-up to 2000’s You Can Count On Me finally arrives in theaters, and is well worth the wait. This sprawling look at the effect a gruesome accident has on Manhattan teen (Anna Paquin) bursts with ambition and specificity. Co-stars Matt Damon and Mark Ruffalo give outstanding supporting turns, but Paquin steals the show with her ferociously committed performance. D: Kenneth Lonergan, US, 2011, 149 minutes
