Exhibitions
The galleries and exhibition spaces in the Hopkins Center display works by guest artists, faculty, students and alumni. Jaffe-Friede & Strauss Galleries are open Tuesday–Saturday, 12:30–10 pm, and Sunday, 12:30–5:30 pm. For more information, call the Studio Art Exhibition Program at 603.646.3651.

One of the Student Workshops' missions is to help Dartmouth students nurture and explore creative practice through hands-on experience. What drives that force is the energy and talent of the four artists and teachers who collaboratively direct the Student Workshops—one of Dartmouth's most popular and enduring programs—in the Hopkins Center for the Arts. This exhibition showcases the artistic explorations of these instructors. View their four unique perspectives represented by Jenny Swanson's large-scale, terracotta sculptures, Jeff Georgantes' narrative metalwork sculptures, and the eclectic and elegant woodworking of Greg Elder and Dudley Whitney.

Karolina Kawiaka: Architecture
Studio Art Department faculty member Karolina Kawiaka received her Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. At Dartmouth, she teaches Architecture, Drawing and Senior Seminar courses, and is a faculty advisor to the student architecture club Arc@D. Professor Kawiaka is a registered architect and the principal of the Karolina Kawiaka Studio. Her firm's work includes building, landscape and furniture design, focusing on sustainable design, infrastructure and connection to the landscape.
