Everything You Need To Know About Attending a School Matinee Series Show at The Hopkins Center

Grade Recommendations Each performance has been designated as being appropriate for multiple grades. These are merely guidelines based on the content of the performances and recommendations of the artists.

Time Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to show time. This will give you enough time to be seated and escort students to the restrooms before the performance starts. All performances are approximately one hour in length.

Buses/Cars Arrival procedures and directions will be mailed one month prior to the performance, along with a study guide. On the day of the performance, buses will unload at the front of the Hopkins Center on East Wheelock Street. Parking is available in the garage located next door to Ben & Jerry's on Lebanon Street. For directions, Click Here.

Have a Head Count Be sure to have an accurate head count of students, chaperones, and teachers when you arrive. Select one adult from your group to report this to our box office representative.

Seating Seats are filled at the discretion of Hop staff based on order of arrival.

Lunch To reserve lunch space for your group, contact us at least one week in advance at 603.646.2010. When joining us for lunch, please contain all lunches in large boxes with the name of your school clearly marked on the outside.

Accessibility The Hopkins Center is committed to making all facilities and programs accessible to all members of our community. Seating and equipment needs should be requested in advance. Please call 603.646.2010 if anyone in your group requires special assistance or parking accommodations.

Photo Policy We may photograph your visit for use on our website or in promotional materials. If you or your students do not wish to be photographed, please contact a Hop staff member.

Cancellations The show must go on! Performances will only be cancelled and refunds issued if the artist is unable to reach the theater. Schools will be notified by phone as soon as possible if a performance is cancelled. We do not issue refunds for weather-related cancellations.
