Dartmouth Theater Department

Eurydice

by Sarah Ruhl

Directed by Carol Dunne and Peter Hackett

Love, grief and art’s power to heal (or hurt) all figure in Tony-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl’s modern, eerily beautiful retelling of the Orpheus myth. This Dartmouth Theater Department production features an original score by Lewis Flinn, who’s composed for stage, film and TV; and, in the role of Eurydice’s father, Dartmouth theater professor Jamie Horton, principal actor and director with the Tony Award-winning Denver Center Theatre Company for more than 20 years.

‘Eurydice’ captivates audiences with tragi-comic tone (The Dartmouth)
