Among wind musicians, Timothy Reynish is a guru. More than any single person, the globetrotting British conductor has broadened the repertoire and reputation of the wind ensemble—and his magic touch as conductor is in demand by the world’s top professional groups. His program with DWS includes many works he commissioned from exciting composers of today, as well as the world premiere of a new work by 29-year-old award-winner Daniel Basford.
