    The classes for little kids are fantastic. Our two daughters have taken two classes now with Mary Chris and had a blast. Mary Chris teaches basic body awareness movement skills to these little ones (ours are now 3-1/2 and 4-3/4). It’s not ballet–which isn’t what we wanted after all–but it is fun, practical, and healthy.

Registration

REGISTER NOW

Registration for classes begins Monday, March 26, for Dartmouth’s dance program, which offers professional-level learning opportunities for Dartmouth students and Upper Valley adults, as well as accessible creative movement training for children. Classes are held in the Straus Dance Studio located in the Berry Sports Center wing of Alumni Gym. Call 603.646.2422 or sign up online. No refunds will be issued after the first week of classes, except by instructor permission.

Directions to the Dance Studio

To get to the Straus Dance Studio, enter through the front entrance of the Alumni Gymnasium which faces Wheelock Street. (The Alumni Gymnasium is the older brick building situated between the tennis courts.) The dance studio is located on the second floor and the north side of the Berry Sports Center between the racquetball courts.
