National Theatre Live (HD Broadcast):

Imelda Staunton stars in this revival of Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical set at an old theater on the eve of its demolition.

Loew Auditorium

Imelda Staunton (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) returns to the National to star in Stephen Sondheim’s (Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd) classic musical. New York, 1971. There’s a party on the stage of the once-spectacular but now crumbling Weismann Theatre, because tomorrow the iconic building will be demolished. Thirty years after their final performance, ghosts from the past and the legendary Follies girls gather to have a few drinks, sing a few songs … and lie about themselves. 3h30m

National Theatre Live (NT Live) delivers the best of British theater to cinemas around the world.
