Visitor Information

Welcome back to in-person experiences at the Hop. We have put in place practices to ensure the safety of our community, and to offer you greater comfort and peace of mind.

All attendees must adhere to Dartmouth's policies for campus visitors. By purchasing a ticket, you are acknowledging that you will adhere to all policies of Dartmouth College and the Hopkins Center for the Arts at the time you attend an event.

Health & Safety at the Hop

Please note: Beginning May 31, 2022 visitors will no longer be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative testing in order to attend Hopkins Center events and activities. We will no longer be performing on-site health screenings.

Masks will continue to be required for all visitors when in Hop lobbies or venues. Masks will be optional for outdoor events and activities unless otherwise noted.

Ticketing & Reservations

The easiest way to find information about your tickets to upcoming events is by logging in to your account on the Hop website.

We have rolled out mobile ticketing, which allows you to skip the Will Call line and head straight to the venue, where you can show your QR code(s) on your personal device. Learn more about mobile tickets >

Printed tickets for a specific event may be picked up at the Hop Box Office within 24 hours of the given event when the Box Office is open. We are not distributing or mailing tickets for future shows.

Phone and web sales end 45 minutes prior to each event. In most cases we will accommodate door sales or registrations in person at the Box Office, although we encourage you to get tickets or make reservations in advance.

Once you have ordered your tickets, you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes; if you do not, please check your Spam/Junk folder. If you still have not received it, please contact the Hop Box Office.

The Hop will not be mailing physical tickets for events this season.

For events that do not require reservations or tickets, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis and at the discretion of Hop staff.

Attending Events

Entry will be allowed into our venues at the discretion of Hop staff, and the house usually opens 30 minutes before the start of each event. Please do not arrive earlier than this time. Late seating is not guaranteed and varies per performance, so please leave ample time for parking and arrival.

By attending a Hopkins Center event, you are implicitly agreeing to adhere to the Hop's Visitor Code of Conduct, as well as Dartmouth College's policies on Sexual Harassment, Non-Discrimination, Weapons, Firearms, Fireworks, and Projectiles, and the Student Standard of Conduct. Unwillingness to comply may result in removal from the event by Hop Staff.
