Visitor Information

We are eager to welcome you back to in-person experiences at the Hop. We have put in place practices to ensure the safety of our patrons, artists and employees, and to offer you greater comfort and peace of mind.

If you wish to attend a Hop event on campus, you must adhere to Dartmouth's policies for campus visitors. By purchasing a ticket, you are acknowledging that you will adhere to all policies of Dartmouth College and the Hopkins Center for the Arts at the time you attend an event.

Health & Safety at the Hop

We require all attendees to show proof of compliance with our current Health & Safety Policies when attending an event, which includes showing proof of vaccination or a negative result of an accepted COVID test administered within 72 hours of the event start time.

In accordance with College policies, all people are required to wear a face-covering when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional when outdoors. All are encouraged to continue wearing face coverings if they feel more comfortable doing so.

We request that anyone experiencing COVID-19-like symptoms, regardless of their vaccination status, refrain from attending Hop events. Should you feel unwell or have any health concerns about attending a Hop event, you may receive a refund if you contact the Hop Box Office up to 24 hours before each event.

We are currently operating at full capacity in all Hop venues.

You can learn more about COVID-19 testing requirements for Dartmouth employees and students.

For any Hop events that are presented off campus with other organizations, attendees must adhere to the policies as articulated by these partner organizations. You will find more about these on the event page on our website as well as in the emails we send registered participants preceding each event.

Ticketing & Reservations

The easiest way to find information about your tickets to upcoming events is by logging in to your account on the Hop website.

The majority of our events require tickets or reservations, even if they are free. This is to ensure we record contact information of visitors and can communicate necessary information to attendees.

Phone and web sales end 45 minutes prior to each event. In most cases we will accommodate door sales or registrations in person at the Box Office, although we encourage you to get tickets or make reservations in advance.

All tickets are currently being held at Will Call, and patrons will receive their tickets after passing our health screening. This is to ensure that everyone entering an event is in compliance with our health & safety policies. In order to get you smoothly and efficiently into our venues, there is a single line in which you will both show proof of compliance with our health policies and retrieve your tickets.

Once you have ordered your tickets, you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes; if you do not, please check your Spam/Junk folder. If you still have not received it, please contact the Hop Box Office.

The Hop will not be mailing physical tickets for events this season.

For events that do not require reservations or tickets, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis and at the discretion of Hop staff.

Box Office Hours

The Box Office and the Hopkins Center are currently closed to the public except when attending an event. The Box Office is open for website, phone, and email questions and sales:
Tuesday–Friday: 12–5 pm
Saturday–Monday: closed

Attending Events

Entry will be allowed into our venues at the discretion of Hop staff, and the house usually opens 30 minutes before the start of each event. Please do not arrive earlier than this time. Late seating is not guaranteed and varies per performance, so please leave ample time for parking and arrival.

For many Hop events, we will not be offering printed playbills, but program information will be available digitally on the event's web page and in an email sent to registered participants a day before the event.

By attending a Hopkins Center event, you are implicitly agreeing to adhere to the Hop's Visitor Code of Conduct, as well as Dartmouth College's policies on Sexual Harassment, Non-Discrimination, Weapons, Firearms, Fireworks, and Projectiles, and the Student Standard of Conduct. Unwillingness to comply may result in removal from the event by Hop Staff.
