Two acclaimed California-based chamber ensembles combine for a program reflecting the diversity of the Pacific Rim—including works by Terry Riley, Sahba Aminikia and Dartmouth’s own Kui Dong. A two-time winner of the top Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, Del Sol is dedicated to 21st-century music. Grammy-nominated ZOFO is one of the world’s few piano duos focusing on the complex choreography of four hands, one instrument.
Works by Sahba Aminikia, Ryan Brown, Kui Dong, Gabriela Lena Frank, Ben Johnston, Kenji Oh, Pablo Ortiz, Nicholas Pavkovic, Terry Riley and Gabriella Smith.
