Student Film FestivalThis event occurred as part of the 23/24 Hop Film season. This is an archived view.
A film festival created by students, for students.
23/24 Hop FilmCinematic creativity is flourishing at Dartmouth, in Film Studies classrooms and all across campus. Regardless of major, minor or year, students with a story to tell have been encouraged to submit their films to this special shorts program, with stories centered on a passionate drummer, a struggling screenwriter, a stop-motion Lego laborer, a time traveler and more! Judges include filmmakers Ricki Stern '87 and Annie Sundberg '90, Producer Michael Phillips '65, filmmaker Jilann Spitzmiller '89 and more industry veterans.
Dartflix also provides a platform for students to showcase their work and hosts a mentorship program with aspiring middle and high school filmmakers from the Upper Valley whose film will be premiered at the festival. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their hard work and creativity on the big screen.
