Smoking is prohibited on campus, including everywhere in the Hopkins Center.
All items prohibited by Dartmouth College are not permitted in the Hopkins Center.
The use of cameras, cell phones, laptops and other electronic recording devices are not permitted inside the venue during the performance.
Food and beverages are permitted in the Loew Auditorium, but not in any other theaters unless explicitly noted. Bottled water is permitted at all venues.
Backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside any Hop venue.
Entry will be allowed into our venues at the discretion of Hop staff, and the house usually opens 30 minutes before the start of each event. Please do not arrive earlier than this time.
Late seating is not guaranteed and varies per performance, so please leave ample time for parking and arrival.
Seating is reserved unless otherwise noted. Entry at unticketed events, unless otherwise noted, is subject to availability, and patrons are accommodated on a first-come-first-served basis.

By purchasing tickets, you are acknowledging that you and all members of your party will adhere to all policies of Dartmouth College and the Hopkins Center for the Arts. These policies are subject to change, and we encourage you to check our Health & Safety Policies page to learn about our current safety practices and what to expect when attending a Hop event.
By attending a Hopkins Center event, you are implicitly agreeing to adhere to our Visitor Code of Conduct.
You must also adhere to Dartmouth College's policies on Sexual Harassment, Non-Discrimination, Weapons, Firearms, Fireworks, and Projectiles, and the Student Standard of Conduct.
Unwillingness to comply with any of these policies may result in removal from the event by Hop Staff.
The Hop Box Office accepts credit cards, Apple Pay and personal checks. We are not able to accept cash. Phone and web sales usually end one hour before each event.
While we make efforts to communicate changes as clearly and quickly as possible, all programs and artists are subject to change without notice.
The price of performances on our website do not include ticket processing fees. For the 2025/2026 season, the processing fees are:

There are two options for ticket delivery, mobile tickets and printed tickets for pick up at Will Call. Tickets will be delivered by email within one hour of order with a link to add tickets to your Apple or Google wallet. For tickets ordered more than three months before the event, the email containing your tickets will arrive 90 days before the event. Mobile tickets are also available through your Hop account starting one hour before the event. The Hop recommends using your Apple or Google wallet since cellular service can be limited in Hanover.
Printed tickets must be selected at checkout and cannot be picked up early. Printed tickets can be picked up at the venue 30 minutes before the event at the Will Call table.
Tickets may be returned for donation up to 24 hours prior to showtime. We also welcome tickets returned within 24 hours of showtime; however, these tickets will not be recognized as donations.
Tickets may be exchanged free of charge from one performance to another performance of the same show, or from one screening of a film to another screening of that same film.
Tickets may be exchanged for tickets to a different show for a fee of $8/ticket; this fee is waived for Hop members at the Cultivator level and above. In addition: All exchange requests must be made at least 24 hours before showtime. The new performance being selected must fall within the current Hop season of events and be on sale at the time of the exchange.
If a ticket is being exchanged for a lower-priced ticket, the difference, less any applicable handling charges, may be used towards additional Hop event tickets or placed on account for future use during the current Hop season.
Account credits may be redeemed online or by contacting the Box Office in person, over the phone or online.
Any account credits issued from exchanges made during the 24/25 Season will be expired and the balance forfeited on October 31, 2025, unless we have clearly stated that the credit is non-expiring. For questions about account credits, please contact the Box Office at 603.646.2422.
How to redeem your credits online: Credits can be redeemed on the payment page during checkout. If you have account credits available, you will see an "Account Credit" section. Click the yellow "Apply Credit" button to apply the credits. You will then see your credits reflected in your cart total.
We cannot accept requests to exchange tickets from Hopkins Center events to academic or other campus performances not affiliated with the Hop.
We cannot exchange or accept as a donation tickets for past or missed performances.
All exchanges are subject to availability.
The Hop follows Dartmouth's guidelines for information privacy.

Youth ages 3-18 and Non-Dartmouth students receive 40% off the full price of a given seat.
Youth and non-Dartmouth students receiving a discounted ticket may be asked to present proof of age or student status at showtime.
Youth and students are excluded from additional discount offers unless explicitly included.
Children under 3 years of age and not requiring a seat are permitted at Hop events free of charge. We require that the child's guardian check in with the house staff before showtime.
Fees for ticket processing are waived for Hop members. Fees for ticket exchanges are waived for Hop members at the Cultivator level and above.
The maximum number of tickets allowed during member pre-buy periods at the season launch is four adult tickets per membership per performance. An additional two youth-priced tickets may be purchased for children age 3 to 18.
Dartmouth student tickets may be purchased online by credit card or in person at the Box Office, by credit card or check.

Ensemble & Theater Department performances: $5
Hop Films & Films with Special Guests (excluding Telluride & HD broadcasts): $5
Met HD Broadcasts: Free
Live in HD series at the Hop is supported by a gift from Cynthia and Jeffrey Manocherian P'15, '18. Students can attend Met Opera in HD for free. Students, please contact the box office by email or phone 603.646.2422 to claim your tickets.
Tickets at the discounted Dartmouth student rate may only be used by currently enrolled Dartmouth students with a valid ID at showtime.
A patron may purchase a maximum of four Dartmouth student tickets per performance, bearing in mind that each ticket can only be used by a Dartmouth student currently enrolled at the time of the performance.
Faculty and staff receive 20% off the full price of a given seat for live arts performances.
Faculty and staff also receive $5 tickets to most Hop Films. This offer excludes Telluride at Dartmouth.
Discounted employee tickets are limited to 4 per order.
The Dartmouth Film Society Pass offers 8 free Film tickets and a $5 price for any additional Film tickets purchased by the Pass holder. These free or discounted tickets must be redeemed or purchased within one calendar year of purchasing the DFS Pass. Any unused tickets will be forfeited. The Pass can be used for tickets to any Hop Film, excluding Telluride at Dartmouth and Art on Screen (Met HD Broadcasts, Exhibitions on Screen and National Theatre Live). There is a limit of 4 DFS tickets per Pass holder to any one film.
Only full-priced tickets may be included in packages.
Patrons may not be able to reserve specific seats when purchasing performance tickets as part of a package. The best available seats are determined and reserved by the Box Office following the package order, and we cannot accommodate specific seating requests beyond accessibility considerations.
Discounts are applied to the lowest common number of seats.
