Who is the DFS Pass for?
Film lovers—and that means community members, Dartmouth students and employees. Anyone that expects to buy more than six Hop Film tickets a year will save $ and enjoy special offers and DFS events!
How long is a DFS Pass good for?
A full year. You can claim your free and discounted tickets anytime within one calendar year of purchasing the Pass.
Can I use my free tickets on any Hop Film?
The exclusions are the Telluride at Dartmouth films and Art on Screen (Met HD Broadcasts, Exhibitions on Screen and National Theatre Live). Otherwise, you can use these free tickets on any of the other 75+ Hop films and Hop Film Events we present each year.
Do I need to select my film tickets when I purchase the DFS Pass?
Nope. You can redeem your eight free tickets (and any additional $5 tickets) anytime within a year of purchasing the Pass.
Can I use multiple free tickets for one film?
Yes. You can claim up to four tickets to any one film.
Once I used my eight free tickets, how do I get the discounted price of $5 of other film tickets?
Just log into your Hop account and enter the promo code "HOPDFSPASS". You will see a $5 ticket price available to purchase. This can also be done in person at the Box Office or by calling 603.646.2422.
Can someone else use one of my free tickets?
Sure, so long as it is purchased through your account.
How can I see how many free tickets I have left?
To view your benefit usage and Pass expiration date, just log into your Hop account, and click "Memberships and Programs" on the left hand side of the screen.
What else does the DFS Pass give me?
Invitations to special events, like receptions, free advance screenings and casual meetups to discuss the movies at the Hop. We'll share these offerings by email and on this webpage.
The Hop will periodically email the DFS passholders with invitations to special events, such as free advance screenings, pre-show parties, receptions with special guests and casual meetups to discuss the movies at the Hop.
