20/21 Hop Original

This is a special event for Dartmouth students, employees and Hop Members.

Raised in Liberty City, Miami, Curiel is a Dominican-American performer who has starred in America Adrift, Monsters and Men, Night Comes On, Critical Thinking and more. Best known for his role as "Lil Papi" on the Emmy-nominated FX drama POSE, Curiel charmed audiences as a young and earnest member of the House of Evangelista. In collaboration with OPAL's Latinx Heritage Celebration and Programming Board, Curiel discusses his experiences in the industry, acting as craft, and Afrolatinidad on screen and in American popular culture with Dartmouth student Jordan McDonald '21.

Facilitator: Jordan McDonald '21, cultural worker and essayist with writing in Huffington Post, Artsy, Bitch Media, Teen Vogue, Film Cred and more, facilitates a dialogue with questions from the Dartmouth community.
