Artists tell the stories they need to tell in the way only they can tell them.  The arts are personal, spiritual, sensual. They connect us through shared revelation, empathy and even joy.

These artist alumni are powerhouses of creative expression whose stories lift our hearts and builds awareness of what lies at the center of our common humanity.

Mary Lou Aleskie is an internationally known advocate for the power of the arts to bring people together and serves as the Howard Gilman '44 Executive Director of the Hop.

Sharon Washington '81 is an actress, writer, producer and advocate for the classics and stories that transcend time and place. 

Chris Newell '96 is an artist, musician, curator and organizer who helps us see the world through an Indigenous lens.

Rachel Dratch '88 is an actress, writer, podcast host and comedian who shares the power of laughter in all her roles.

Alexi Pappas '12 is a writer, director, actor and athlete who finds joy and stories of our capacity to excel and transcend.
