21/22 Classes & Workshops

The third class from Dance Theatre of Harlem during their summer residency focuses on the classical ballet repertory, drawing on vocabulary from the female and/or male variation from the Le Corsaire Pas de Deux.

This class is intended for participants ages 12 and up who have at least 5 years of prior ballet experience.

This event is presented in partnership with White River Ballet Academy. WRBA combines the best practices in pedagogy, child development, sports psychology and anatomy to develop both strong classical ballet dancers and healthy, well balanced children. Students learn from passionate and experienced professionals who have advanced training and certification in how to teach ballet.

The Dance Theatre of Harlem residency is funded in part by Claire Foerster and Daniel S. Bernstein 1987, the Arthur J. 1903 and Nellie Z. Cohen Fund, and the Nathan W. Pearson 1932 and Sons Fund.
