an interactive ScreenPLAY adventureThis event occurred as part of the 20/21 Youth & Families season. This is an archived view.
In this digital journey, everyone becomes part of the story.
HopStopsScreenPLAY is non-stop fun that takes place entirely over Zoom. Participants use movement, puppetry and theater to channel their creativity and turn their screens into another world. In this session called "How to Charm a Sea Monster," we're diving into the deep blue sea. Get ready to become seaweed, underwater creatures and you guessed it — a sea monster. Will it be friendly? We'll find out!
Recommended for ages 3 and up, and all family members are encouraged to participate.
Registration: This free event will take place on Zoom and requires advance registration. Please RSVP below and you will receive a Zoom link and more information in your email receipt.
About The Gottabees
This Boston-based ensemble has been happily making "super fun theater for the whole family" for the past seven years. They have performed for audiences across New England, throughout the U.S. and beyond. You may recognize them from their shows Squirrel Stole My Underpants, Lollipops for Breakfast and Go Home Tiny Monster.
The Gottabees' mission is to inspire community, connection and joy by providing an outlet for families to giggle, gasp, sigh and cheer together. They want children (and adults!) to know that they, too, can make theater wherever they are and whomever they are.
Find out more about The Gottabees, and check out their Try This At Home series, a collection of playful and theatrical activities that you can do at home with the whole family.
