Join us via Zoom for three hands-on sessions that build ceramic skills at home.

All materials, necessary tools, and instructions will be sent to you via USPS.*
Participants will not be making finished (fired) projects, instead the focus is on the experience and skill-building that will serve you well later when you are in the physical studio.
*We apologize, but due to the time required to order materials, we are not able to ship outside the Continental US in a timely manner.
Sessions
Pinching a form, finding a balance
July 16, 5-6 pm
We will make 2 forms, one pinched and the other hollowed and then pinched
Using a mold with coils
July 23, 5-6 pm
With a simple small bowl mold we will build with small coils
Carving for decoration and transformation on a leather hard surface
July 30, 5-6 pm
On a thicker form that you make before the session, you will be subtracting clay to animate the surface
Ceramics Chats: optional time offered July 17, 24, 31 from 2:30-3 pm for participants & Dartmouth students.
