The combo celebrates these musicians through events like Bill Cole's John Coltrane Memorial World Music and Lecture Series at Amherst and Dartmouth, and Boston's annual John Coltrane Memorial Concert founded by Syd Smart and the late Leonard Brown and Hayes Burnet.
Featuring special guests Keith Gibson (drums) and Alexander Hawkins (keyboards), plus Coast alum Mali Obomsawin '17 (bass), Noah Campbell '20 (saxophones), Eli Hecht '23 (bass) and Daniel Lin '23 (cello), along with Coast director Taylor Ho Bynum (cornet).
