Dartmouth Dance Ensemble Director and Broadway choreographer John Heginbotham hosts a lively conversation with musician, performer and scholar D. Zisl Slepovitch. Slepovitch prepared the music for Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Tony and Academy Award-winner Joel Grey, and is the founder and leader of the Litvakus klezmer band Zisl Slepovitch Trio. John and D. Zisl are joined by Emmy-nominated and Broadway actress Jackie Hoffman, one of the stars of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, to discuss the history of Yiddish Theater and its profound impact on Broadway theater.

This event is presented in partnership with the Jewish Studies Department at Dartmouth.
