19/20 Hop Presents

Schedule of Events:

11 am–2 pm: Community Open House
Kids’ Zone sponsored by Town of Hanover Parks and Recreation, Live Music, Food and Dartmouth Departments Open House Fair: learn what is available at Dartmouth for the Upper Valley community

2–3 pm: Tango Class
Interested in Argentine tango? Please join us for a fun and free tango class with Andres Bravo and Sarita Apel in Alumni Hall. No partner needed and no experience necessary! After the class, come see the dancers perform with the Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet at 5 pm!

5–6 pm: The Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet
2018 Latin Grammy Award winner, bassist and composer Pedro Giraudo is one of the most creative and daring tango masters on the scene today. His compositions combine his love of classical forms, Argentine tango and folk music, and the spontaneity of jazz improvisation.

6:30–7:30 pm: Cha Wa
With funk-laced beats and the gritty warmth of lead singer J’Wan Boudreaux’s voice, New Orleans brass band-meets-Mardi Gras Indian outfit Cha Wa radiates the fiery energy of the best features of the city’s street culture.

8–9 pm: Noah Kahan
An angelic voice and the ability to pair emotionally raw lyrics with upbeat melodies has been winning this 22-year-old Upper Valley native a global following.  His viral hits include Hurt Somebody, Come Down and False Confidence—the latter two from his debut album, Busyhead, released last month.
