Based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel, this is a funny yet sweet coming-of-age story about single motherhood and Metallica. Metalhead teen Daniel is crushed when a holiday with his dad in Florida is cancelled and he's faced with an interminable summer in the epically boring British suburbs. Mum Sue is deeply caring but can't figure out how to connect with her troubled son. An epic war of wills ensues in their suburban home as Daniel just wants to listen to heavy metal and start a band while his mom hopes to rekindle the fun times they used to have together. Drifting around the dull, manicured streets and Escher cul-de-sacs and powered by original songs from Belle and Sebastian, Days is a charming tale of renewed connections and possibilities.
