In December, the Hop deepened its ambitious partnership with the conservatories of Tuscany, showing how art has the power to unite. Thirty-seven student musicians from the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, led by director Filippo Ciabatti, joined leading student musicians to perform 5 concerts througout the iconic concert halls of the region.

The program features two works by Mahler: Songs of a Wayfarer and Symphony No. 1, "Titan." The orchestra will be joined by internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Antoinette Dennefeld for a solo performance.
