22/23 Theater Department

Free and Unticketed Event

By Sam Shepard
Directed by David Katz '24

In this exhilarating bullet of a play, swaggering stuntman Eddie and fiery diner cook May unravel the threads which knot them together. Set in a cramped motel room at the edge of the Mojave, Eddie and May have a limitless backyard to escape the misery of the other, yet something keeps them in the walls, keeps them at the other's throat, keeps them at the other's lips. A finalist for the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. A story not to be missed.
