Join us for The Center for Cartoon Studies Will Eisner Spring Lecture featuring New Yorker cartoonist Harry Bliss. Bliss sketches original artwork and discusses Wealth of Pigeons: A Cartoon Collection, a New York Times bestseller he created in collaboration with comedian Steve Martin. Called "surreal, silly, satirical and, at times, oddly moving" by The Washington Post, this collection of humorous cartoons shares amusing commentary about Bliss and Martin's collaboration throughout. Whit Taylor, The Center for Cartoon Studies Faculty Member, moderates the discussion.
This virtual event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions in the live chat.
A limited number of signed copies of Wealth of Pigeons are available at the Norwich Bookstore.
