Make your own wooden dreidel for Hanukkah!
HopStopsBoth sessions are sold out.
Hop Woodshop Director Greg Elder and Assistant Woodworking Instructor Janet Collins show you how to assemble and paint your own dreidel with the four Hebrew letters — Nun, Gimel, Hey and Shin. Together, these letters represent the Hebrew phrase Nes Gadol Hayah Sham ("a great miracle happened there"). After the paint dries, your dreidel will be ready to spin!
This free virtual workshop takes place over Zoom with two session opportunities, one on December 8th and the other on December 15th. It is ideal for ages 3-8 and is limited to 20 registrants per session.
All the materials you need come in a prepackaged make-it-at-home kit, which includes materials to make two dreidels. Registration is limited to one kit per household.
