A musical scavenger hunt!
HopStopsJoin Upper Valley Music Center for an interactive workshop for young children and caretakers. This session draws on joyful and educational activities from Music Together® classes with a focus on using at-home items as instruments. Get ready to sing some songs, transform a bowl into a drum and play along! Together, we'll spark creativity and explore the many ways to make music.
This free workshop is ideal for ages 0-5.
In particular, we encourage you to bring something to shake (such as the homemade shakers in this video below or a spice container with peppercorns) as well as a few wooden kitchen spoons or sticks from outside. In the video below, UVMC's Lisa Piccirillo and her son Luca show us how to make a homemade shaker.
