Set on a gorgeous Greek island and powered by ABBA's greatest hits, this star-studded exuberant musical was made with the most delicious, joyful abandon. Enjoy!

20/21 Hop Film

Donna (Meryl Streep), an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter's wedding with the help of two old friends/former bandmates. Meanwhile Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother's past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day. Mother and daughter are joined by Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Christine Baranski and Julie Walters - as well as telegenic locals in various showy dance numbers. Adapted from the worldwide hit stage musical, Mamma Mia! is an unapologetically joyful romp reminding us that love has its ways. D: Phyllida Lloyd, US, 2008, 1h48m

Co-sponsored by Collis After Dark
