Taught by Sankofa Danzafro director/choreographer Rafael Palacios, this class introduces Afro-contemporary dance, including dance technique created in Senegal at the Mudra-Afrique school. The technique builds on a foundation of traditional dance to explore contemporary movement. Ages 16+, no experience necessary. Wear clothing you can move in, with bare feet.  Space is limited; pre-registration required.
