Celebrate the Hop's 60th and enjoy an afternoon filled with artistic delights, including live music, a family film, student productions and more! 

22/23 Special Event

 

12 pm: Cupcake and Champagne Toast | Top of the Hop

12 - 2 pm: Performances by student groups hosted by DJ Sean of Livemixkings | Top of the Hop | A capella, jazz and vogue

12 pm: Student Film Showcase | Loew Auditorium | Come celebrate the next generation of filmmakers with this collection of short films made by Dartmouth students in classes ranging from Docu-Fantasy to Sound Design. 

1 - 2 pm: Egg | Garage 131 | A performance of songs and live ceramics by César Alvarez and Emily Orling that calls up unthinkable thoughts about creative kinship, small town futurism, trans middle age, mediocre parenting and the ancient unreliable religion of art making.

2 pm: PIPPIN | Moore Theater | Dartmouth students give the iconic musical masterpiece a modern twist.

2 pm: New York International Children's Film Festival | Loew Auditorium | Let your imagination take the wheel! These shorts are full of music, animation, delights and surprises, like a cat the size of a house, a lost rain boot trying to get home, adventuring astronauts and scheming kids. 

2 - 6 pm: Digital Musics Student Art Walk | Various locations in the Hop
