Patin Libre Dancing on Ice

After a short demonstration, Le Patin Libre will invite everyone onto the ice for a fun and playful introduction to dancing on ice, followed by free-skating with the group. Bring your skates or rent at the arena!
Appropriate for all ages and skills, targeted for ages 4+. If you can stand on skates, you can dance on ice!
This event will now occur at 10 am at Union Arena, 80 Amsden Way, Woodstock, VT 05091. Skate rentals are available at Union Arena and are FREE OF CHARGE for this event.
Le Patin Libre is a contemporary ice skating company from Montreal. This performing art uses ice, skates and glide as media. Some people view their work as a form of "contemporary dance on ice." The first collective was founded in 2005 by former high-level figure skaters who regrouped with the intention of transforming their athleticism into a means of free expression. Far from sparkles, stereotypes and champions' demos, the creations of Le Patin Libre present real works of art, making use of the amazing choreographic and theatrical potential of glide.
